Nagasaki Peace Park
Nagasaki Peace Park was created with the pledge to never repeat war and the wish for world peace. The Nagasaki Peace Statue, the symbol of the park, represents "the threat of the atomic bomb with the right hand, peace with the left hand, and the prayer for the repose of the victims' souls with the face." Visitors can learn more about the history of Nagasaki at the nearby Atomic Bomb Museum.
